Wedding videomaker at Tenuta Armonia: this is the story of Giulia and Andrea, and it begins even before their wedding.

Some stories begin at another wedding.

Andrea had proposed during Simone and Francesca’s wedding at Staffarda Abbey, on 2 September 2023 — a wedding that I had filmed, and where Andrea was a witness. The party was in full swing, and at a certain point he thought that that moment was the most right. On June 20, 2025, all three of us met in Clavesana, with Paolo Barge as photographer and a Tenuta Armonia that seemed to have always been waiting for them.

The civil wedding at Tenuta Armonia

Giulia and Andrea are exactly the kind of couple that makes you want to do the job well. Young, fun, with that energy of someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously but knows very well what they want. A civil wedding, outside the box, in the estate in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe.

Tenuta Armonia, in Clavesana, is one of the most genuine locations I know in the province of Cuneo. It’s not a place that tries to impress — it’s a place that welcomes you. Over 300 years of history, Langa stone walls, vineyards all around and that view of Monviso which on the right days takes your breath away. The owners, Ivo and Mariarosa, put something into it that anonymous structures don’t have: the warmth of those who really live in that place and cherish it.

Clavesana, the Langhe and the late afternoon light

Paolo Barge and I know each other well – he knows exactly when to disappear and when to be there, and with a couple like Giulia and Andrea it wasn’t difficult: they almost always laughed, and when people laugh the work comes by itself. The internal courtyard of the estate, with the old press in the centre, is one of those spaces where there is no need to look for the shot: it is already there.

The banquet was organized by Eventi & Sapori, the Fossano catering company that knows the Langhe and their ingredients like few others. With a couple like Giulia and Andrea — who know exactly what they want and aren’t satisfied — the cuisine was as much a part of the story as the images.

However, there is one thing that I had in mind from the beginning: that sunset over Monviso that the Langhe offers on certain evenings. Tenuta Armonia is well oriented to take advantage of it — the light comes down through the vineyards, takes in the stone walls from underneath, and for a few minutes everything turns honey-colored. I waited for those images in the film of Giulia and Andrea all day.

As a wedding videomaker at Tenuta Armonia, I know that that late afternoon light over the Clavesana vineyards is one of the most beautiful things that can be put in a film.
